Position Overview

The successful individual will assist in the organization and maintenance of food and beverage products within a high-volume resort environment. They will work closely with multiple departments to ensure daily orders are accurately picked, prepared, and delivered in a timely manner. They will also assist with receiving products, unloading delivery trucks, and properly storing items in fridges, freezers, and dry storage areas within the storeroom.

This role requires a strong focus on guest service, teamwork, and operational efficiency, as the position supports the overall food and beverage operations across the resort.

 

The incumbent should expect to be working primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work in all weather conditions, including adverse and changing mountain environments.

This is a full-time seasonal role. Alberta Employment Standards regarding probationary periods apply.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse or inventory management experience considered an asset
  • Must be physically capable of meeting the demands of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 80 lbs, and pushing carts
  • Comfortable using computers and various software systems
  • Knowledge of procurement software and invoicing processes considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately read, interpret, and complete orders
  • Knowledge of food service operations and health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining organization and efficiency
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 kilograms and push up to 50 kilograms as required in various tasks
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the day (both indoor and outdoor environments)
  • Ability to ski or snowboard blue runs (considered an asset for resort access and movement between operational areas)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (or better)

Job Duties / Responsibilities

  • Follow Alberta safe food handling guidelines while maintaining a clean and safe workspace, including daily temperature log recordkeeping
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store all food and beverage products in fridges, freezers, and storage areas, ensuring correct FIFO rotation
  • Unload delivery trucks and assist with receiving shipments as required
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform daily and weekly stock spot checks
  • Participate in full inventory counts as scheduled
  • Maintain cleanliness of all storage and receiving areas on a daily basis
  • Ensure safe handling practices when moving, lifting, and organizing stock
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times
  • Support smooth resort operations through accurate and timely order fulfillment and distribution
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times and proactively identify and report any safety concerns that could impact staff or guests
  • Maintain strong awareness of personal and team safety when operating in storage, loading, and delivery environments
