About this role

We’re hiring Entry-Level Event Marketing & Communications Assistants to support fundraising events, promotional campaigns, and community initiatives for a variety of clients, including nonprofit and charitable organizations.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, career changers, and motivated entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in event marketing, communications, fundraising, community engagement, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with marketing campaigns, fundraising events, promotional initiatives, and community programs
  • Engage with attendees, donors, and community members to increase awareness, participation, and engagement
  • Support event setup, promotional materials, registration, and onsite activities
  • Assist with marketing communications, campaign messaging, and promotional content
  • Track event participation and campaign activity and share insights with team leaders
  • Support team members with project execution and campaign initiatives
  • Communicate information about nonprofit missions, programs, and campaigns clearly and professionally
  • Contribute creative ideas to improve event experiences, campaign messaging, and community engagement
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development

Qualifications

We’re looking for motivated individuals with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

  • Strong in communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working with the public in fast-paced environments
  • Interested in marketing, communications, events, fundraising, or nonprofit organizations
  • Self-motivated, professional, and team-oriented
  • Coachable with strong potential for professional growth
  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, events, or administrative roles is a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required
