About the Role

As an Entry-Level Marketing Associate, you’ll represent nonprofit organizations and community-focused campaigns through face-to-face marketing, live events, community outreach, and public engagement.

You’ll interact directly with community members, educate the public about important causes and initiatives, and help create meaningful connections between nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve.

This is a people-focused, hands-on marketing position designed for individuals who want to develop real-world experience while making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent nonprofit organizations and purpose-driven brands at live events, community events, pop-ups, and promotional campaigns
  • Engage directly with customers, donors, and community members through face-to-face marketing and outreach
  • Educate the public about nonprofit missions, charitable initiatives, and campaign objectives
  • Create positive experiences that increase community awareness and engagement
  • Support fundraising, donor acquisition, and community outreach campaigns
  • Assist with event marketing, promotional activities, and campaign execution
  • Build professional relationships with members of the community
  • Track basic campaign activity and performance using CRM and reporting tools
  • Work closely with team members to achieve outreach and campaign goals
  • Participate in ongoing paid training, coaching, and professional development

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need a marketing degree or previous professional experience to succeed in this role. We’re looking for individuals with the attitude, communication skills, and motivation to learn.

Ideal candidates are:

  • 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework is a plus
  • Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking with new people
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to develop professionally
  • Coachable and open to feedback
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Interested in marketing, communications, events, nonprofit work, fundraising, sales, or community engagement
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, public-facing environment

Previous experience in marketing, sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, fundraising, events, or communications is a plus—but not required.
