Retail Volunteer - Troon
Troon · On-site
About this role
Marie Curie charity shops play a vital role in raising funds to support our nurses and the care they provide to people living with a terminal illness and their families.
We’re looking for enthusiastic Shop Volunteers to join our retail team and help deliver a great shopping experience. From fashion and homeware to books and unique finds, our shops offer a wide range of quality donated items, and we need your help to sort, prepare, and sell them.
As a Shop Volunteer, you’ll:
-
Welcome and assist customers on the shop floor
-
Operate the till and handle transactions
-
Sort through donations to find quality items or hidden gems
-
Prepare stock for sale by checking, hanging, steaming, sizing, and displaying items on the shop floor
-
Help maintain a clean and tidy shop environment
Whether you’re looking to gain experience, meet new people, or support a cause close to your heart, volunteering in our shops is a rewarding way to make a difference.
