About this role

Play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of our charity shop.
Whether you’re helping on the shop floor, sorting donations, pricing items, or creating a friendly and welcoming space, your time and support will make a real and meaningful difference to our store.
 
All Marie Curie charity shops play a vital role in raising funds to support our nurses and the care they provide to people living with a terminal illness and their families. From fashion and homeware to books and unique finds, our shops offer a wide range of quality donated items, and we need your help to sort, prepare, and sell them.
 

Availability: 3 hours per week

Time: Shifts available Mon-Sat between 9am-5pm and Sun 10am-4pm

Location: 11 Newport Rd, Middlesbrough TS1 1LF

Criteria: Aged 18 or over. No previous experience required.

 

What you'll do:

  • Sort donations and uncover hidden gems
  • Prep items - steam, tag, and style for sale
  • Chat with customers and operate the till
  • Spruce up window displays and restock shelves
  • Keep things clean, tidy, and fabulous
