POSITION SUMMARY: Mariani Landscape is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to own the full recruiting lifecycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talent to fuel the company's growth. Beyond recruiting, this role also supports onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration, making it ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across all aspects of HR. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required, as this role regularly communicates with a diverse workforce across all levels of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the full recruiting cycle for both hourly and salaried positions, from crew and field roles to office and management positions — including sourcing candidates, posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and extending offers.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, community partnerships, and local trade or agricultural programs.
- Partner with hiring managers across departments to understand staffing needs, define role requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies for both seasonal and year-round positions.
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate) to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring efficiency.
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing offer packets, processing paperwork, setting up accounts and equipment, and coordinating first-day logistics.
- Represent Mariani Landscape at job fairs, community events, and other recruiting activities to build the company's employer brand and expand its talent network.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in Workday.
- Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues to the HR Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support special projects and process improvements within the HR department as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in a Recruiting or Human Resources Generalist role, with a demonstrated track record of full-cycle recruiting for both hourly and salaried positions.
- Experience recruiting for high-volume or seasonal hiring needs strongly preferred (landscaping, construction, agriculture, or similar industries a plus).
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Proficient in HRIS systems (Workday experience a plus).
