The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Territory Manager who knows how to build relationships, win new business and grow a market.
In this role, you’ll own sales growth within your territory, working directly with HVAC contractors and dealers to expand existing accounts while developing new customer relationships. You’ll spend your time in the market, meeting with customers, identifying opportunities and helping contractors grow their businesses.
You’ll have the backing of an established HVAC distributor, respected manufacturer relationships and a team that understands the industry and supports you in the field.
What You’ll Do
- Own sales growth and new business development within your territory
- Build and strengthen relationships with HVAC contractors and dealers
- Prospect for new customers and develop opportunities into long-term accounts
- Grow existing accounts by identifying additional product and sales opportunities
- Build and maintain an active sales pipeline aligned with territory goals
- Meet regularly with customers throughout the territory
- Present HVAC equipment, products, promotions and programs based on customer needs
- Help dealers grow their businesses through product knowledge, pricing, financing, training and sales support
- Partner with internal teams and manufacturer representatives to deliver solutions for customers
- Stay informed on competitive activity, customer needs and market trends
- Maintain customer activity, appointments and sales opportunities within the CRM
- Participate in dealer meetings, trainings, customer events and industry activities
- Travel throughout the territory to develop new business and maintain customer relationships
What You Bring
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience
- HVAC, distribution or related industry experience preferred
- Proven ability to grow existing accounts and develop new business
- Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence prospecting, cold calling and opening new accounts
- Ability to manage a territory independently and stay focused on sales goals
- Strong organization, follow-through and customer service skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree in Business or a related field is a plus

Physical Demands & Work Environment
This full-time position requires approximately 40 hours per week and involves regular physical and sensory activity, including:
- Bending, lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged sitting (up to 8 hours), with intermittent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Continuous use of fingers, hands and arms for computer and office-related tasks
- Frequent use of office equipment such as computers, phones and scanners (up to 8 hours daily)
- Regular verbal communication via phone and in-person interactions (up to 6 hours daily)
