Senior Manager, PMO
About this role
Position Responsibilities:
Leading portfolio financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
Managing portfolio resource planning and capacity management across Project Managers, employees, and third-party contractors.
Supporting onboarding, governance, and operational management of external vendor resources.
Driving consistency in portfolio processes, controls, and management reporting.
Supporting Project Manager capability development, coaching, and operational excellence.
Providing management insight and recommendations to improve resource utilization, financial accuracy, and delivery effectiveness.
Establishing and maintaining institutional knowledge that cannot be sustained through rotating contractor resources.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline. 5 - 10 years experience in Project Management, ideally within financial services
Excellent communication and presentation skills
PMP certification
Experience in insurance industry a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Scrum Master I
