About this role

The Director, Total Company Expenses role offers a unique opportunity to lead the enterprise-wide expense planning and consolidation process, providing visibility across the organization and direct exposure to senior leadership. By ensuring accurate forecasting, planning, and reporting of total company expenses, you will help drive informed decision-making and supports the organization's financial goals and strategic priorities. The successful candidate will build strong partnerships across Finance and business teams, influencing outcomes and driving alignment across the enterprise. Through this experience, you will deepen their expertise in financial planning, executive communication, and enterprise-wide financial management while developing a broad understanding of the business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise-wide expense consolidation, ensuring accurate, timely, and comprehensive reporting of total company expenses.

  • Manage the end-to-end annual planning process, including timelines, assumptions, governance, and executive deliverables.

  • Coordinate forecasting activities and partner with Finance and business leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and actions to achieve financial targets.

  • Provide executive-level analysis and insights on expense performance, key drivers, variances, and emerging trends to support decision-making.

  • Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, reporting, data quality, and financial management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience

  • MBA, CFA or CPA preferred

  • Typically, 12 or more years of experience

Salary range is expected to be between

$125,100.00 CAD - $175,100.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
