About this role
Main Tasks
- Responsible for the design and development of filtration systems.
- Conceptualizes complex new product designs, changes, and concepts to meet internal and external product specifications, cost, and timing.
- Works with cross-functional teams to evaluate product designs and specifications, determining feasibility while minimizing costs for development and manufacturing.
- Collaborates with operations to understand process capabilities and provides product design recommendations aligned with production strategies.
- Coordinates all computer-aided engineering (CAE) necessary to validate product designs analytically.
- Analyzes results to optimize design for performance, robust manufacturing, and cost efficiency.
- Completes CAD tasks as assigned by the Lead Product Engineer (LPE) and/or Manager – Design & Development. Occasionally coordinates and reviews engineering and CAD tasks with GBTS.
- Actively participates in and supports Kaizen/DLS workshops and annual objectives.
- Completes required tasks for each Gate per xSEP process.
Minimum Educational Requirement
Vocational Training or Comparable Qualification in Engineering or Related fields
