Role Summary
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Manager to lead our local IT operations and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in IT service support, project management, and business relationship management. The IT Manager will play a critical role in maintaining high-performing helpdesk services, driving IT strategy, and ensuring compliance with security and licensing standards.
Main Tasks
- Steering and managing IT systems software, hardware and databases
- Managing the analysis, development and administration of data and voice networks as well as data processing operations
- Managing broad technical knowledge and experience across a variety of IT areas, including infrastructure, development, operations and quality assurance
- Steering the support for end user technology and software
- Overseeing the conduction of cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects
Skills Requirements
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, operations, practices, and procedures within IT Service Desk operations
- Ability to work independently as well as team player in an international environment
- Familiar with risk management / escalation management, and managing deadlines
- Knowledge of IT related laws
- 10% Travel Domestically
- 100% on-site at our Allen Plant (Gastonia, NC)

Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and/or 5 years of IT Manager experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience Requirements
- 5 years minimum relevant IT Manager work experience within field service support.
- Experience across ITIL service support processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
