This position will be responsible for supervising all aspects of manufacturing operations, including people, processes, safety, quality, and productivity. Demonstrated experience in manufacturing operations leadership, team development, and production supervision in fast-paced manufacturing environment is required. Experience with metal tube cutting, CNC tube bending, welding fabrication, and/or powder coat finishing is highly preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and manage production operations and product quality by implementing, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies, procedures, and standards.
Achieve departmental production goals and drive continuous improvement through Lean principles, performance monitoring, problem-solving, and corrective actions to improve efficiency, throughput, quality, and overall performance.
Develop, train, and maintain a skilled, accountable, and stable production team.
Establish clear expectations, maintain consistent communication, and hold all individuals, including themselves, accountable for delivering results and satisfying internal and external customers.
Assist in developing, maintaining, and implementing departmental work instructions and standard work for all applicable tasks.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and secure work environment while ensuring compliance with health, safety, housekeeping, hygiene, and 5S standards.
Conduct employee performance reviews in accordance with company guidelines.
Make sound, fact-based decisions that support the best interests of the organization.
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment built on accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to company values, safety, quality, and performance.
Serve as a liaison with Engineering to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and support manufacturing objectives.

QualificationsKnowledge and Skill Requirements
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory skills and experience.
In-depth knowledge of tube cutting, bending, welding, and/or powder coat finishing processes.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work well with and motivate a diverse group of people.
Understanding of Lean principles and/or Six Sigma principles.
Ability to read and interpret business documents and data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Knowledge of General business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, electronic mail, procedures and performance documents, as examples, in English.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to effectively conduct meetings in person and with technology assistance.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to utilize data to make business decisions.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• Typical 10 hour work days based upon facility.
• Typical 4 or 5 day work week schedule based upon facility and schedule loading.

• May be required to work during production shutdowns or other “off-schedule” periods to conduct special activities.
