Major Food Group is hiring part-time Polishers to join our team at Carbone Dallas!
 

Carbone is an Italian-American restaurant created by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick. The restaurant pays homage to the essence of the great Italian-American restaurants of mid-20th century New York. The food nods to that history, but takes its culinary cues from the great talents and techniques of the present and future. Familiar dishes like Seafood Salad, Linguini Vongole, Lobster Fra Diavolo, Chicken Scarpariello and Veal Parmesan elevated to a new level.

Carbone Vino, located just across the courtyard from Carbone, is a new concept from Major Food Group celebrating timeless artisanship and the most coveted wines of Italy complete with a thousand bottle wine cellar. The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrées like spicy rigatoni and friend veal chop prepared “your way”, and fresh gelato served table-side.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stock shelves, racks, tables and service stations with new or transferred supplies.
  • Receive, open, unpack and stock restaurant supplies.
  • Polish all glasses and silverware to be used in the dining room.
  • Restock the dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments and linen, and maintain adequate supplies in the work stations when the dining room is open.
  • Fold napkins and make extra place settings.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 0-1 years experience working in service industry
  • Dependable, hard-working, and punctual a must
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Open availability a must - both daytime and overnight schedules available
