Store Manager - Suez | MAF Retail | Supermarket (Express) Egypt
ROLE SUMMARY
The Store Manager - Supermarket is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the assigned supermarket, driving sales growth, maximizing profitability, optimizing stock management, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting continuous business growth. The role is also responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring improvement plans to achieve operational and commercial excellence
ROLE PROFILE
- Manage the overall operations of the supermarket and ensure smooth day-to-day business performance
- Implement supermarket strategies, policies, and operational plans in alignment with company objectives.
- Drive sales growth and profitability through effective commercial performance management and cost control.
- Monitor stock levels, sales performance, product availability, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure proper merchandising standards, pricing structure, product displays, and promotional execution.
- Oversee hygiene, safety, security, and maintenance standards across the store.
- Coordinate with department heads to optimize inventory management, reduce waste, and control shrinkage
- Lead, coach, and develop store teams while supporting performance management and talent development initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferredBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the retail industry
- Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills
