Senior Category Manager

ROLE PROFILE

• Collaborate with the Category Lead to deliver strategic roadmaps and annual budgets aligned with F&B business needs.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies in compliance with legal, policy, and business requirements.
• Lead complex sourcing activities for new projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
• Drive cost savings through consolidation, standardization, and detailed cost analysis including TCO.
• Lead supplier negotiations and finalize commercial agreements in coordination with legal teams.
• Analyze market trends and spend data to identify cost drivers, opportunities, and business improvements.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, ensure performance, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders across OpCos.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, ensuring successful project delivery aligned with category strategies and KPIs.

• Experience in a large Direct Procurement organization specifically F&B Category dealing with multiple sourcing activities Experience in negotiating big deals within the F&B Category Experience in Procurement within "Shared Services" is a plus to pr
• Proven ability to negotiate high-value deals, perform spend analysis, and develop procurement strategies to drive value.
• Hands-on experience with e-sourcing platforms and ERPs such as Oracle, Ariba, and Coupa; shared services experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of procurement best practices, contract terms, and local regulations, with the ability to assess legal and business risks.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills, with a customer-focused and influencing mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree required, with preferred certifications (MCIPS/CIPS/APICS-CSCP), optional MBA, and fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
