Senior Lead Design Manager - DPM
About this role
Planning & execution of all design activities of projects (design, development, prototyping and validation) in collaboration with team members. Deliver the design in totality to stakeholders, respecting QCD parameters as defined in each project.
To collect and disseminate within the Design Department all the information impacting the development of the projects (QCDP, USP + Basics, services, architecture, feasibility, etc.)
To oversee the general organization of the project in Design while respecting the development process, to participate in the elaboration of business case and development schedules for his project and alerts on any budget / planning drifts.
To ensure that the pre-requisites issued by the other departments involved in its projects are well considered by the Exterior/Interior/C&M designers. To relays the orientations of the project and develop an action plan or a framework for their good integration by the Designers.
To reconcile the design choices and the objectives of the project, promoting balanced trade-offs between Design and its partners.
To steer Design convergence by ensuring that the expected parameters and criteria are met, fulfil the quality requirements for each milestone, and endorses the nature of the commitment delivered at the milestone.
Planning & strategy of yearly project workload & workforce, budget & entry ticket, hardware & software resources, subcontracted activities etc. To manage and anticipate the risks and hazards of the project.
Report & present the design project to corporate design & all regional stakeholders periodically. To alert hierarchy of any deviation and keeping the other members of the project team informed.
Make design presentation to Design top management at various stages.
