Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  1. Experience in new product development for suspension systems.  Monocoque & body on frame.
  2. Experience of RLDA and RWUP testing, tuning parameters and basic calculations.
  3. Understanding & experience of Kinematics & compliance.
  4. Knowledge bushes & dampers.
  5. Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, DOE, 8D problem solving technique.
  6. Experience of various concerns faced during production ramp up and solutions.
  7. Knowledge of GD&T, metrology & dimension measurement techniques.
  8. Knowledge of latest trends in automobile thermal systems.
  9. Knowledge of automotive test standards and vehicle test procedures.
  10. Suspension related concern analysis & resolution as per the 8D methodology.
  11. Preparation of time plan for development or problem analysis activity.
  12. Supporting project heads/COE team for implementation of ICA and PCA of critical issues.
  13. Co-ordination with vehicle validation & COE teams for DVP related improvement or issue resolution.
  14. To prepare lesson learnt and identify the improvement in existing design guideline or process or test methods to avoid the recurrence of concern.
  15. To conduct design review and DFMEA of parts/system.
  16. To do the benchmarking of specific parts or specific attribute of system/part for improvement in existing design.
  17. Experience of component level DVPs and test standards.
  18. To study existing DVP test and tested durability parts and propose corrective action or improvement in test method to improve functional competencies.
  19. To Interact with vendors for proprietary parts component level validation and vehicle level validation and process verification.
