About this role

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Work Measurement using MOST for existing models for any changes, also for new models/ Variants.
  • Line balancing as per different TACT and different vehicle combination and finalisation of manpower & implementation of same.
  • Responsible for maintaining details and improving the productivity parameters as work content reduction, EWT improvement & Improvement in Eq. Veh/man/year by doing method study, VA-NVA analysis, Video analysis etc.
  • Responsible for Ergonomics study using tools like SSES sheet, V3 Analysis & Equipment Analysis.
  • Responsible for identifying bottlenecks  and eliminating the capacity constraints as per volume demand using method study tools (Man-Machine charts, deciding the online – offline strategy, low cost automation. etc.).
  • Responsible for equipment improvement for introduction of new models and variants.
  • Manpower calculation and improvements/kaizens  for indirect work like logistics, quality and rework…etc.
  • Capturing of Different losses & Improvement in OLE/ OEE by elimination of different losses
  • To Perform Value Stream mapping to find out the NVA’s and work to reduce the same.
  • Facility, tools, fixtures planning, budget workout, procurement & implementation for new Variant projects , New Variants introduction as per APQP. Design and establishment of process for new products / models implementation .
  • Workout capital budget requirement, FTG procurement, Installation & commissioning for Product & process change management.
  • Ensure for DCP review as and when required & Process audit rediness for respective  shop.
  • Identify & implement Process improvement & WC reduction in existing  process to improve overall productivity.
  • Preparation of new layout or modification in existing for improving overall productivity of the Paint shop
  • Design & implement the facility & equipment as per the PPAP guideline.
  • Responsible for making all Contracts (house keeping, system Cleaning,Fabrication) budgeting and monitoring.
  • Monitoring Monthly & yearly Inventory ,overall cost champion and cost cotroller.
  • Resposnible for Paint BOM creation, updation & monitoring.
  • Knowledge of TPM pillars & responsible for KK pillar & DM pilar
  • Monitor, controll and measures to reduce cost per body . Act as a cost champion.
  • Workout Yearly revenue budget  & monitor & control monthly.

B.E. or Diploma with experience in Ind. Engg. Or  Paint technology.
