Cloud Engineer
About this role
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to create cloud deployment solutions for diverse applications.
- Knowledge on any of the cloud platform like AWS, GCP or AZURE'.
- Development & deployment of automation framework, working out Cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Knowledge of Cloud AI & ML microservices such as AWS Sagemaker.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AWS Cloud issues, providing solutions to problems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, schematics, manuals, and deployment guidelines.
- Maintaining efficiency & optimization of Cloud database for existing Power BI dashboards
- Automation framework for Dashboards: according to need, Multiprocessing of Scripts to optimize data loads.
- Knowledge for connecting Visual tools to Cloud Databases (S3, Lambda function, BOTO3, EC2 instances, AWS SSM, IAM roles) – Gateways, ODBC Connectors etc
- Linux and Operating Systems: Strong understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration, as cloud environments heavily utilize these operating systems.
- Networking: Knowledge of virtual networks, load balancing, security groups, firewalls, and general network management functions within cloud environments.
- Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in languages like Python (preferred), Java, Go, Ruby, and scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell for automation and application development.\
- Cloud Cost Management: Understanding of cloud pricing models, billing, and native cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management).
- Resource Optimization: Ability to analyze and identify underutilized or over-provisioned resources, and implement strategies for right-sizing and waste elimination.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams as needed.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems, vehicle networks (CAN, OBDII), and IOT protocols
- Knowledge on verification & validation of automotive standards & Processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
