About this role
At Magnific, we're building AI products used by millions of creators worldwide. As we continue to scale globally, we're looking for a Commercial Counsel to help shape the legal foundations of our next stage of growth.
You'll partner closely with teams across Sales, Partnerships, Business Development, Product, and Operations to structure deals, manage legal risk, and support strategic initiatives in a fast-moving AI environment.
What you'll do
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including enterprise SaaS and subscription contracts, licensing agreements, partnership deals, reseller and affiliate arrangements, and procurement contracts.
Lead enterprise contract negotiations from start to finish, including MSAs, DPAs, and order forms.
Manage AI-related licensing and vendor agreements with model providers, helping define how third-party models are integrated into our products.
Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships teams to streamline contracting processes and approval frameworks.
Build, maintain, and improve contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal resources.
Apply EU and international regulations relating to data protection, AI, intellectual property, and copyright in day-to-day commercial work.
Provide practical legal guidance to teams working across multiple countries and time zones.
Help scale the Legal function through process improvements, automation, and operational excellence.
What we're looking for
Law degree and qualification to practice in an EU/EMEA jurisdiction (Spain or another EU country).
5+ years of post-qualification experience. In-house experience within a technology or SaaS company is a strong plus.
Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and partnership contracts.
Solid understanding of software licensing, SaaS business models, GDPR, and intellectual property rights.
Familiarity with the EU AI Act, Digital Services Act (DSA), or a strong interest in becoming an expert in these areas.
Fluent English is required; Spanish is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
