The project:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative mixed-use development in Abha, Saudi Arabia. The programme will create a world-class destination, bringing together residential, commercial, hospitality, leisure, and public realm components to support the region’s future vision and growth aspirations.

The project offers the opportunity to work within an integrated, multidisciplinary team on a large-scale development that will contribute to the ongoing transformation of the Kingdom and create a lasting legacy for the region.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Oversees project delivery across timeframes, budgets and risk.
  • Leads end‑to‑end project management from inception to completion.
  • Aligns delivery with stakeholder expectations through clear communication.
  • Champions Safety First and promotes wellbeing across all teams.
  • Provides subject‑matter expertise to strengthen wider Mace programmes.
  • Drives collaboration across client, consultant and contractor teams.
  • Manages programme integration across design, procurement and delivery.
  • Leads strategic initiatives including business development and commercial performance.
  • Partners with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes and embed best practice.
  • Leads and develops teams while driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent. Progressing toward chartership with a recognised professional body and ongoing professional development.
  • Minimum 20 years of total professional experience, including at least 7 years of experience in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven leadership in health, safety and wellbeing, delivering measurable outcomes and embedding best practice.
  • Strong knowledge and application of relevant legislation within complex organisational environments.
  • Effective communicator with analytical capability and ability to engage, influence and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
