About this role

We are currently seeking a Functional Analyst / Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Configurator, responsible for translating business needs into concrete CRM solutions configured in Salesforce.

 

This role is central to process transformation and combines:

  • Functional analysis
  • Solution design
  • Salesforce configuration

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Write user stories for the project.
  • Design technical solutions and configure Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
  • Collaborate closely with executives, the Product Owner, the project manager, enterprise architecture, operations, and the project team.
  • Contribute to addressing roadblocks, risks, and external challenges encountered by the team.
  • Demonstrate versatility and a willingness to contribute to all team activities, even if they sometimes take you outside your primary role (T-Shape).
  • Act as a subject matter expert and consultant to a multidisciplinary team on projects and mandates specific to your area of expertise, projects with significant scope and impact for the financial sector.
  • Identify and analyze technical issues. Raise critical issues. Establish frameworks and make recommendations to the relevant bodies and committees.
  • Act as the lead for aligning the solution with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Act as the lead for the end-to-end integration of the technical solution (from design to deployment).
  • Propose and recommend technical solutions that bring added value to the organization.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables for the projects under your responsibility.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, document and validate them.
  • Contribute to the definition and prioritization of requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of the testing strategy.
  • Support the business unit during the deployment of the solution(s).
  • Work closely with the product manager and the integration solutions architect.
  • Contribute to performance discussions based on progress indicators.

REQUIRED

  • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud configuration (objects, fields, flows, validation rules, security) | Mandatory | All requirements
  • User story writing and functional requirements documentation | Mandatory | All requirements
  • Ability to interact with executives, product owners, architects, and business teams in a matrix structure | Mandatory | All requirements
  • 8+ years of experience | Mandatory | All requirements

PREFERRED

  • Experience in a financial environment | Mandatory | All requirements
  • Experience in end-to-end integration (design to deployment) | Mandatory | All requirements
  • Contribution to the testing strategy | Mandatory | All requirements

ASSET

  • Salesforce certification (Salesforce Administrator, Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional, or equivalent) | One option is sufficient | All requirements

 

WHAT WE DON'T WANT

  • A purely Business Analyst profile with no direct Salesforce configuration experience.
  • A generalist Salesforce Admin with no Financial Services Cloud experience.
  • A profile that has never written user stories or translated business needs into specifications.
  • A candidate with no experience in the financial or insurance sector.
  • A profile that requires close supervision and is uncomfortable in an agile matrix structure.
