EBX Specialization Governance Lead

Description:

We are seeking an experienced EBX Specialization Governance Lead to establish and lead enterprise Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives using TIBCO EBX within the insurance domain. The successful candidate will define governance strategies, policies, standards, and operating models to ensure high-quality, trusted master data across the organization. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, architects, and technical teams to support regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance Leadership:

• Define and implement enterprise data governance strategies, frameworks, and operating models.
  
• Establish governance policies, standards, and procedures for master data management.
  
• Lead governance councils, working groups, and steering committees.
  
• Define data ownership, stewardship, accountability, and decision-making processes.
  
• Promote enterprise-wide adoption of data governance best practices.
  
• Lead governance activities for TIBCO EBX implementations.
  
• Define and maintain master data domains, hierarchies, business rules, workflows, and approval processes.
  
• Ensure EBX supports enterprise data governance objectives.
  
• Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to implement governance requirements.
  
• Oversee metadata management, reference data, and master data lifecycle processes.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.
  
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data management or data governance.
  
• 5+ years of experience implementing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
  
• Hands-on experience with TIBCO EBX.
  
• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
  
• Strong understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models.
  
• Experience working with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, or other insurance platforms.
  
• Experience with enterprise data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, or Alation.
  
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  
• DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), DCAM, TOGAF, or similar certification.
  
• TIBCO EBX certification is highly preferred.
  
• Experience leading enterprise digital transformation and data modernization initiatives.
  
• 10–15+ years of overall IT and data management experience
  
• 5+ years leading enterprise data governance initiatives
  
• 3–5+ years working with TIBCO EBX Master Data Management
  
• 5+ years in the insurance domain
  
• Proven experience implementing enterprise data governance and MDM solutions across large organizations
