Why This Role Matters

This role owns the solution definition and delivery guidance for Procure-to-Pay technology operations initiatives. It translates business challenges, site-based evidence, and P2P process priorities into scalable solution requirements, value-driven work packages, and implementation guidance that enable reliable procurement, supplier, contract, invoicing, payment, and operational support outcomes.

What You Will Deliver

Manage P2P Solution Delivery

  • Capture statements of requirements for P2P initiatives by translating business challenges, pain points, and site-based evidence into clear solution needs.
  • Define solution plans, work packages, and quarterly value milestones in alignment with platform architects, solution architects, and domain stakeholders.
  • Ensure solution designs support procurement, supplier management, contract lifecycle, invoice processing, approvals, payments, and operational support processes.
  • Resolve technical, functional, and integration issues that may impact delivery outcomes, adoption, or business value realization.

Guide Delivery Teams

  • Provide technical direction, design clarification, and quality oversight to delivery teams during solution implementation.
  • Guide engineers, analysts, digital specialists, data teams, and external delivery partners to ensure the solution design is implemented correctly.
  • Validate that implementations meet agreed functional, performance, control, data, integration, and quality expectations.
  • Support site-based deployments, stabilization, transition-to-run activities, and ongoing solution management across P2P operations.

Support Domain and TechOps Initiatives

  • Work with Domain Integrators and Business Partners to shape initiative scope, value hypotheses, success measures, and delivery priorities.
  • Align P2P technology initiatives with agreed KPIs, business value outcomes, control requirements, and transformation priorities.
  • Surface technical trade-offs, solution risks, interdependencies, and constraints early to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure solution delivery remains connected to practical P2P outcomes including cycle-time improvement, compliance, user adoption, and service reliability.

Ensure Scalable and Integrated Solution Design

  • Ensure P2P solutions are scalable, integrated, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards and architecture principles.
  • Coordinate with platform, integration, data, cybersecurity, ERP, analytics, and application teams to resolve cross-domain dependencies.
  • Confirm that solutions support master data quality, workflow automation, controls, auditability, reporting, and integration with enterprise platforms.
  • Maintain consistency between solution design, operational support requirements, and long-term TechOps manageability.

Provide Quality Oversight and Issue Resolution

  • Monitor delivery progress against requirements, value milestones, quality expectations, and operational readiness criteria.
  • Troubleshoot current and future-state issues across workflows, integrations, data, platforms, controls, and user adoption areas.
  • Drive corrective actions for defects, delivery blockers, solution design gaps, and integration issues impacting P2P outcomes.
  • Provide clear status, risks, recommendations, and decision support to the Director, TechOps Delivery, P2P Domain and relevant stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like

  • P2P business challenges are translated into clear solution requirements, delivery plans, and value-based work packages.
  • Solution designs are scalable, integrated, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture and TechOps standards.
  • Delivery teams receive clear technical direction, design clarification, and quality oversight throughout implementation.
  • Technical trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and integration issues are surfaced early and resolved effectively.
  • Implemented solutions improve P2P performance, user experience, control, compliance, service reliability, and measurable business value.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in technical, analytics, technology delivery, solution design, digital transformation, or enterprise application delivery roles.
  • Experience owning solution design, guiding delivery teams, resolving integration issues, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Exposure to P2P, procurement, supply chain, ERP, workflow automation, data, analytics, or technology operations environments is preferred.

Skills That Matter

  • Technical solution architecture and solution design ownership
  • P2P domain understanding across procurement, supplier, contract, invoice, approval, and payment processes
  • Business requirements capture, problem structuring, value hypothesis development, and delivery planning
  • Quality-focused delivery guidance, implementation oversight, testing support, and operational readiness
  • Systems thinking, cross-domain integration, workflow automation, data quality, and enterprise platform alignment
  • Risk, dependency, issue, trade-off, and stakeholder management across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Ability to communicate technical direction clearly to business, delivery, platform, and architecture stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving technology delivery environments
