Driver Qualification & Screening
- Experience Mandatory: Must have at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 12 months, OR equivalent road time versus off-road time over the past 10 years.
- DOT Regulations: Must meet DOT fitness rules and pass mandatory pre-employment urine and hair follicle drug screenings.
Pay & Benefits
- Tiered CPM Pay Scale:
- 0–1 yr: $0.63 CPM
- 2 yrs: $0.64 CPM
- 3 yrs: $0.65 CPM
- 4 yrs: $0.66 CPM
- 5 yrs: $0.67 CPM
- 6 yrs: $0.68 CPM
- 7 yrs: $0.69 CPM
- 8 yrs: $0.70 CPM
- 9+ yrs: $0.71 CPM
- Stop & Detention Pay: $20 per stop (~18 stops/week) + $20/hr detention pay (accrues after 2 hours up to 10 hours).
- Earning Projections: Average earnings of $1,510/week (~$78,500 annually); top earners reach $1,635/week (~$85,000 annually).

Route & Schedule Details
- Home Time: Out a minimum of 2 weeks at a time with 34-hour resets as needed; receive 1 day off for every week spent on the road (requires 2 weeks advance notice for time off request).
- Delivery Territory: Dispatches start at the Tacoma, WA DC, delivering to Harbor Freight store locations across WA, OR, CA, UT, CO, ID, MT, NE, ND, SD, and WY.
- Freight & Rig: 100% no-touch freight; multi-stop routes averaging 18 store stops per week with assigned permanent trucks (no slip-seating).
- Orientation: Remote orientation available starting strictly on Mondays; road test in Salt Lake City or Colton (Tacoma locals report directly to SLC or Colton).
