Dedicated Kroger Delivery Driver – Home Every Day
Tired of burning fuel on long-haul runs and missing out on your personal life? If you live within 50 miles of Blue Ash, OH, we’ve got a solid local driving gig that gets you back to your own house every single day.
You’ll be running 3rd shift grocery routes (starting around 9 PM) servicing Kroger stores across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Expect to knock out 200 to 300 miles a day across a few loads and multiple stops. Yes, this is touch freight using powered pallet jacks, so if you haven't used one, don't sweat it because we’ll train you right on-site. You'll also occasionally pitch in to run support for our Woodlawn facility when needed.
What’s in your paycheck:
- Weekly Pay: Averaging $1,600 a week, putting you on track for roughly $83,000 a year.
- Stackable Extras: You get paid for the work you do, $20 per stop, $37 per unload, $20 for backhauls, $25 for pallet restacks, and an extra $25 bonus for clean inspections.
- Pay Scale: Experience-based mileage pay starting at $0.56 (0 mos), stepping up through $0.57 (6 mos), $0.58 (1 yr), $0.59 (2 yrs), $0.60 (3 yrs), $0.61 (4 yrs), and maxing at $0.62 per mile for 5+ years.
- Paid Training: $100 a day for your initial 2-day ride-along training.
The Reality Check (What we need from you):
- The Schedule: This is an overnight 3rd shift operation running 7 days a week. You must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays, including mandatory work during holiday weeks and the entire week leading up to them.
- Experience & Location: A valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience, plus you must live within 50 miles of Blue Ash, OH (45242).
- Getting Around: Reliable personal transportation is required to get to and from the DC every day.
