Job Purpose:
The Supply Chain Optimization Analyst is an early‑career, full‑time role focused on data analytics, process insight, and continuous improvement across the supply chain. This role supports the Supply Chain Optimization team by building trusted analytics, documenting processes, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making across Supply chain and operations.

The role is ideal for a high‑potential individual with strong analytical skills who wants to grow into advanced supply chain, analytics, or operational excellence leadership roles

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Data Analytics & Visualization
Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical models using SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
Support the creation of standard KPIs related to execution performance, backlog health, WIP, capacity, and readiness.
Validate data accuracy and consistency across systems (SAP, MES, reporting layers).
Reduce manual reporting through automation and self‑service analytics.

Process Documentation & Insight
Support documentation of end‑to‑end supply chain processes, workflows, and standard work.
Assist in identifying process gaps, handoff issues, and sources of variability using data and observation.
Maintain process maps, SOPs, and reference materials to support consistency across sites.
Help ensure process documentation reflects actual system behaviour and execution reality.

Continuous Improvement Support
Support continuous improvement initiatives across existing products and steady‑state operations.
Assist with value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and data‑driven problem solving.
Help track improvement actions, metrics, and sustainment over time.
Support the rollout and adoption of improved processes and analytics.

Supply Chain Readiness & Change Support
Support readiness assessments for new product ramps and system changes.
Assist in gathering, validating, and visualizing readiness data (process, data, capacity, systems).
Help capture lessons learned and incorporate them into standard tools and documentation.

Collaboration & Learning
Work closely with senior team members to learn supply chain systems, processes, and analytics.
Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and Business Units to understand business needs.
Continuously develop technical, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data.
Experience with Excel and at least one of the following: SQL, Power BI, Python, or similar tools.
Strong curiosity about how systems, data, and processes work together.
Clear communication skills and willingness to learn from feedback.

Preferred Qualifications
Internship or co‑op experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or analytics.
Exposure to SAP, MES, or manufacturing data.
Familiarity with process mapping or continuous improvement concepts.
Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, scripting, etc.).

RSU Eligible  
This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM’s discretion, subject to individual and company performance. 

Hourly Range
The Hourly Range for this position is $38.00 – $55.00 per hour. Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
