Senior Test Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Engineer to support test manufacturing and product engineering activities at subcontractor sites. This role involves developing and troubleshooting RF/electrical test solutions, supporting new product introductions, and driving yield and cost improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee subcontractor test operations, yields, and process improvements as well as the implementation of the standardized test processes.
- Lead new product qualifications and test correlation activities across subcontractor sites
- Debug / troubleshoot the consigned RF test systems (hardware and software) and maintain a systematic debug guide documentation
- Provide periodic reports on engineering projects, on-site electrical test operations / yields.
- Coordinate with supply chain team and sub-contractors to optimize test operations and to meet shipment schedules, typically identify problems restricting manufacturing throughput and recommend solutions
- Drive cost reduction projects and continuously improve subcontractor production test capability and capacity.
- Support quality team to identify root-cause on test related quality issues and monitor corrective action implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering or related field and minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor RF test engineering.
- Experience with RF testing on commercial ATE as well as customized bench test and knowledge in RF instruments e.g. VNA, signal analyzer, etc.
- Experience with RF testing of amplifiers, LNA, switches and diode devices will be an advantage.
- Hands-on test development experience on releasing test solutions will be added advantages.
- Ability to read and understand RF circuit schematics and layout drawings for the purpose of understanding test system and device operation and troubleshooting.
- Strong statistical analysis. Experience with JMP is a plus and knowledge on six-sigma / lean manufacturing will be an advantage
