Senior Supply Chain Planner (NPI)
Job Summary
Works under the direction and guidance of the Engineering NPI Manager/Director and is responsible for all NPI planning and scheduling of manufactured and/or subcontracted parts. Provides support to Engineering, Operations, and Marketing/Sales teams to execute plans from Kick-Off to Production Release. Responsible for initial NPI material requisitions to support build plans and inventory requirements. Focal point of communication of all NPI related activities as it relates to NPI builds/plans including but not limited to Engineering experiments and Samples, and coordination with factory/subcon and logistics. Responsible for scheduling NPI Products backlog and revenue commitments. Familiar with a variety of the organizational concepts, practices, and procedures, as well as, a complete understanding of supply chain, material planning and control.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Execute and coordinate all internal and external builds related to NPI including initial material requisitions to support the build.
Review & confirm new and change orders daily
Manages supplier delivery schedules to ensure they meet NPI backlog requirements. May include supplier visits.
Generate and maintain accurate Customer OTD (on time delivery) and Projected Ship Dates
Maintain master data where needed
Coordinates all NPI activities from plan, build and ship 
 
Key Competencies Required
Experience with planning and procurement in the semiconductor manufacturing industry
Planning and organizational skills.
Good Analytical skills.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Thorough working knowledge of MRP (inputs, logic and outputs) within SAP ERP system.
Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
Good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
Is flexible and able to react to changes as needed.
Take initiative and seek additional training or direction as needed.
Qualifications
8+ years’ experience in Planning of finished good products
Semiconductor background strongly preferred
Professional experience with SAP ERP.
Deep understanding of Excel
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
APICS certification strongly preferred

RSU Eligible  
This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM’s discretion, subject to individual and company performance. 

Salary Range  
The Salary Range for this position is $81,000 – $115,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
