US Market Manager (m/f/d) - 3x German Shopify E-Commerce Brands - 100% remote

Workplace
Hybrid
Compensation
€120k – €170k

About this role

Lyto Brands Group is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce startups in Germany, focused on personalized products. We operate three emotionally driven D2C brands: famwalls (couples, families, friends), heybalu (pet lovers), and Bo & Birdie (young parents). We're a team of Shopify nerds, marketing gurus, and content creators, united by a growth mindset and a no-bullshit culture.

About This Role
The US is currently being managed from Düsseldorf, but it needs someone who truly understands the market and can drive it forward. We're looking for a US Market Manager to own our American business across all three brands.
This is not a pure shop management or CRO role. You'll be responsible for the commercial success of an entire market: shaping the product assortment, identifying the right occasions and gifting moments, driving revenue growth, and coordinating cross-functionally with our Product, Design, Performance Marketing, CRM, and Shop Optimization teams. You'll be the central point of accountability for all US market decisions.

Tasks

  • Take full commercial ownership of the US across our three brands (famwalls, heybalu, Bo & Birdie)

  • Drive revenue growth and optimize conversion across the entire funnel

  • Expand and shape the product assortment based on US market insights

  • Understand which occasions, gifting moments, and cultural specifics actually matter to American consumers

  • Work closely with Product, Design, Performance Marketing, CRM, and Shop Optimization teams across Germany, Vietnam, and Moldova

  • Act as the central point of accountability for all US market decisions

  • Identify growth opportunities and research competitors

  • Support building a supplier and partner network in the US

Requirements

  • Roughly 3 to 7 years of experience in e-commerce, ideally in a D2C environment

  • Direct commercial responsibility in a previous role (P&L ownership, revenue targets, or market-level KPIs, not just campaign execution)

  • Strong understanding of what drives conversion and revenue in online retail

  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and executing hands-on

  • US native or deep, lived expertise in American consumer culture and the gifting calendar (Mother's Day timing, graduation season, the holiday ramp-up)

  • Based in the US, you'll visit our Düsseldorf office regularly in the first months)

  • Fluent English is a must; German is a plus but not required

To be direct about the fit: If your background is primarily in B2B, wholesale, or marketplace management, this probably isn't the right role. We need someone with hands-on D2C e-commerce experience. Similarly, if you're coming from a senior director or VP-level position and are looking for a large team to manage, this is a hands-on builder role with a lean setup.

Benefits

  • Full commercial ownership of an entire market with direct impact on company growth

  • Work directly with founders and leadership team

  • 100% Remote work

  • Regular on-site visits to our loft office in Düsseldorf (monthly in first 3 months, travel covered)

  • Health benefits, meal allowance, top hardware (MacBook, widescreen)

  • Team with strong growth mindset, honest communication, and "no bullshit" culture

  • Competitive compensation with variable pay tied to your KPIs

  • Dedicated onboarding buddy and full tool access from day one
