Front End Manager
About this role
The location of this position is to be determined. We anticipated that the selected candidate will start at our Golden Valley location, but this is subject to change. When hiring new managers Lunds & Byerlys does its best to place the new managers at a location best suited for them.
Lunds & Byerlys is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full-time Front End Manager to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $24.50-$29.13/hr.
We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 6:00am-10:00pm.
FRONT END MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Front End Managers are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Managing and assisting Front End operations including:
- Scanning items
- Entering pricing data
- Processing payment
- Packaging groceries
- Resolving any checkout concerns
- Bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Assisting in coaching, mentoring, and training front-end staff
- Scheduling front end staff
- Hire and train front end staff
- Assist Operations Manager in other assigned tasks

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- Required: undergraduate degree in business or equivalent experience
- Experience:
- One or more years' experience in with payroll, scheduling, and all aspects of bookkeeping
- Prior team leadership experience
- Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of retail operations
- Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
