Job DetailsJob Location: Ontario Warehouse - Ontario, CA 91761Position Type: InterimSalary Range: $19.00 - $19.00 HourlyJob Category: Supply ChainThe Interim Logistics Clerk will effectively coordinate day-to-day logistics operations. They are responsible for import and export logistics, the execution of shipping services, and compliance documentation activities required for in/outbound shipping.
*All interim positions are temporary and for a set amount of time, not to exceed 6 months. Upon completion of the interim role, the employee will return to their previous position.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 - 2:30 PM.
What You’ll Do
Follow and adhere to logistics processes and procedures, providing suggestions for improvements as applicable.
Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
Coordinate and track the movement of goods through logistic pathways.
Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.
Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low.
Maintains quality throughout the logistics processes.
Develop and run logistics reports on a regular basis as instructed.
Ad-hoc projects as requested by management.
Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
Strong Microsoft Office experience, especially in Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Strong organizational skills and astute attention to detail.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Nice to Have - Bonus Points!
Working knowledge of data extraction and analysis.
