SUMMARY:

Runs a crew(s) or project(s) of 15,000-man hours per month. Works with Project Manager for the duration of a project to provide technical leadership and coordination in the areas of scheduling, safety, layout, productivity, communication, material management, tool and equipment management, quality control, and project close-out.

This position has been designated as safety sensitive. It is a position that includes tasks and duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee or others. The position requires the employee’s full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute all job responsibilities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Experience in electrical industrial construction in supervisory roles and four projects completion from start to finish. 
  2. A minimum of two years as a superintendent or senior supervisor.
  3. Strong knowledge of superintendent duties and specialized systems, with proven ability to manage projects within budgets and time schedule.
  4. Proven expertise in Superintendent duties and specialized systems, with a strong ability to manage projects within project specifications.

  1. Adapts project scope, reviews contract documents, and implements project strategies for effective execution. 
  2. Ensures accurate schedule updates and coordinates staffing, installation plans, and daily housekeeping practices. 
  3. Conducts weekly safety meetings, manages Job Hazard Analysis, and ensures timely reporting of injuries and safety notices. 
  4. Walks job sites daily to address issues, maintains comprehensive field reports, and coordinates installation layouts and schedules with clients.
  5. Commitment to Total Quality Management.

 

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  1. Conducts all required field testing, quality control, and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and contract specifications. 
  2. Coordinates layout and installation with other trades, handles field issues, and ensures accurate reporting of quantities and man-hours. 
  3. Manages material organization, orders, inventories, and tool maintenance while providing training on safety and proper use. 
  4. Maintains as-built drawings, completes punch lists, and ensures the turnover of spare parts and training for the owner's personnel. 
  5. Regularly updates the Project Manager on delays, enforces adherence to company procedures, and ensures quality installations.
