What you will do:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, utility, laboratory, and building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical panels, water systems).
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues and implement timely solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment status, and parts used in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Interpret blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals for diagnostics and repairs.
Support ongoing GMP compliance by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Participate in audits, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate maintenance projects or equipment installations.
Ensure safe work practices at all times, including use of PPE and adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and electrical safety procedures.
Revises, maintains and/or implements preventive maintenance procedures for the chillers, air handler units, refrigeration equipment, cooling towers, electric generators, autoclaves and other manufacturing and laboratory equipment as required.
Perform task in clean room environment in compliance with applicable gowning procedures.
What we are looking for:
High school diploma or GED required
Associate’s degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology preferred
2+ years of experience in industrial, facilities, or manufacturing maintenance (mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled)
Experience working in a GMP-regulated or cleanroom environment
Ability to work a rotating night shift position (6pm to 6am)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
Familiarity with CMMS (e.g., SAP)
Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, or HVAC systems is a plus
Willingness to work on a shift schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
