The Role:
The NPI Technical Manager is responsible for the manufacturing
technology/process of new projects awarded to ODM&JDM suppliers and acts as a coordinator among various departments within Logitech. The role involves ensuring excellent new project review in the front-end design stage to eliminate risks during mass production. The role collaborates with BG and vendors to support DFX review, issue analysis, process improvement etc. enhancing manufacturing efficiency and minimizing design, process, and manufacturing risks.
Your Contribution:
- Collaborate with BG and Vendors to engage the early design review with team to ensure all issues being addressed and solved before mold tooling open
- Provide issue solutions for NPI projects, enhance manufacturing efficiency, and minimize material usage.
- Conduct trial-run yield rate improvement and troubleshooting.
- Support new project trial-run in supplier site
- Conduct research on technology trends and communicate with affiliated suppliers.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Familiar with the design, manufacture, and process related to electronic products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management knowledge.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, with high organizational skills.
