The Team and Role:

The Key Accounts Manager function is to determine and drive Logitech’s business and growth with existing and new partners, working with and influencing the key decision makers in the channel and building relationships locally with our alliance and strategic partners.

Unlike a specialist role, the Omni-channel KAM operates with a "growth mindset" to identify new business opportunities across the entire Southern African cluster.

This role reports to the Head of Cluster, ZASA.

The location is hire only in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Scope of coverage is Southern Africa Cluster (South Africa + SADC Territories).

In this role you will handle:

A. New Business Development & Market Expansion (40%)

  • Hunting for New Customers: Proactively identify, pitch, and onboard new customers in untapped sectors such as Sub-distribution, Independent Retail and Telecommunications,

  • Regional Growth: Drive DCS growth in the wider Southern African territories (SADC).

  • Portal Development: Aggressively develop and optimize partner portals for online customers to ensure digital shelf excellence.


B. Omni-channel Account Management (30%)

  • Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of accounts across various channels (Distribution and re-sell channels).

  • Channel Harmony: Execute integrated commercial strategies to ensure that online promotions and offline activities complement each other, preventing internal channel cannibalization.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers locally, moving from a "fulfillment" relationship to a "strategic partnership."


C. Commercial Strategy (20%)

  • Stock & Health Management: Monitor channel stock levels and sell-out data to ensure healthy inventory rotations.

  • Agile Execution: Rapidly pivot GTM tactics in response to market changes or competitive threats 


D. Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)

  • Trade Marketing Alignment: Work closely with the Trade Marketing Manager to ensure marketing spend and POS materials are optimized for both physical and digital storefronts.

  • Forecasting: Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to ensure supply chain alignment.

Key Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Key Account Management within FMCG or Consumer Electronics.

  • Proven track record in New Business Development and Account Management

  • Experience managing distribution networks and sub-distributors in Southern Africa.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume, diverse account base.

  • Omni-channel Fluency: Deep understanding of the intersection between brick-and-mortar retail and digital e-commerce.

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to analyze data 

  • Agility: Ability to work in a lean team environment and pivot strategies quickly based on market dynamics.

  • Collaboration: Natural ability to collaborate across functions and challenge the status quo to drive results.

  • Must reside or be willing to relocate to Gauteng, South Africa. 

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

  • Knowledge across a range of marketing tools

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Ability to drive and coordinate projects
