About this role
St Albans Catholic High School are looking for a driven and focused candidate to join their busy administration team. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience whilst working towards a level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Working week
Mon-Thurs 08:30 - 17:00 1 hour Lunch
Fri 08:30 - 16:30 1 hour Lunch
37 hours per week
Wage
£9.00 per hour
Wage rises to National Minimum Wage after 12 months if over 19 years old.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of agendas, briefing papers, reports, presentations, correspondence and other documentation using Microsoft Office 365
- Learning to produce accurate meeting minutes, action logs and follow-up documentation for meetings.
- Supporting the monitoring and tracking of actions arising from meetings to ensure agreed deadlines are met.
- Maintaining confidential electronic and paper filing systems in accordance with Trust procedures and data protection requirements
- Assisting with academy onboarding, conversion and Trust development projects through effective administrative coordination
- Assisting with the ordering and management of office supplies and equipment
- Contributing ideas that improve administrative systems, digital processes and ways of working across the Trust

Confident working with numerical information and written documents, with the ability to interpret data accurately and communicate effectively.
Education and qualifications
Maths and English at GCSE level A-C (4-9) or functional skills equivalent.
