Title: Project Director

Division: Public Infrastructure (NTX Land)  

Summary: The Project Director is focused on clients and projects with the responsibility to establish client relationships and sell work, build relationships, and growing business. A Project Director initiates client relationships, sales activities, and collaborates with Director/Director/Division Manager for business development strategy.  Reports to Director or Division Manager.

General Responsibilities:

  • Client development and maintaining client relationships.
  • Supporting project managers with proposals preparation, client negotiation, collections and trouble shooting.
  • Active involvement in client related organizations & charities.
  • Responsible for developing new client relationships and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Primary source of sales activities and results for the group.
  • Involved in strategic planning for the group.
  • Ability to build client relationships and sell work.
  • High level of competency in the industry.
  • Active participation in professional organizations.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Significant contributor to the business line.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • P.E. License

Required Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in engineering.
  • Broad knowledge of their field of expertise and the engineering field.
  • Proficiency in appropriate software for the market.
  • Excellent attention to detail and impeccable work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
