We are currently looking for a Senior Validation Engineer to join the Littelfuse Kaunas Validation Team as a hands-on technical expert focused on our products validation lifecycle in laboratory environment. Reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager, you will execute hardware validation and drive the automation of laboratory equipment and validation setups. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure validation meets customer requirements and program timelines.

This role is based on-site in Kaunas and reports directly to Laboratory Manager.

About the job:

  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned validation projects through personal accountability and effective time management

  • Develop validation plans that ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive industry standards

  • Design and creation of custom validation rigs and electro-mechanical setups, combining hands-on assembly with build supervision and ordering

  • Leverage LabVIEW or Python expertise to build test automation software for equipment control, data acquisition and visualization

  • Execute and supervise the validation process while mentoring team engineers to solve complex technical challenges

  • Collaborating with external laboratories and suppliers

  • Present findings through clear reports and data visualizations

About you:

  • ·Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics, mechatronics, or related fields

  • Proven experience navigating and collaborating across multiple parallel cross-functional teams, with strong multi-project time management and documentation skills

  • Ability to develop from scratch and debug LabVIEW and Python scripts to automate equipment, with at least 2 years of real, hands-on experience

  • Analytical mindset with a keen big-picture sense, balancing deep technical precision with cross-functional collaboration

  • Adaptable and persistent when navigating obstacles within a fast-evolving engineering environment

Beneficial skills:

  • Hands-on experience with power supplies, DMM’s, DAQ systems, matrix switching/ multiplexing, NI-Hardware, high-power equipment (>15 kW)

  • Experience in Climatic, Mechanical or EMC/EMI testing

  • Experience with Atlassian task management software (Jira/Confluence).

The salary range 3600 EUR gross – 4400 EUR gross per month but the final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate.
