Role Summary

Be instrumental in expanding the Littelfuse Magnetic Sensing portfolio and strategy, with a focus on Littelfuse’s Custom and Catalogue Magnetic Sensor Assembly product offering.
Direct and by delegation manage the product line including financials, organic and in-organic growth strategies, product roadmaps, NPD, and go-to-market

Responsible for determining and managing product line strategy through:

  • P&L ownership of product line
  • Analysis of markets, products, applications and technology trends
  • Evaluation of competitive landscape
  • Create business cases to drive new product development
  • Successful NPI execution and NPC/NPS improvement
  • Determine go-to-market strategy by region including focus distributors, product positioning and focus account selection and execution via global sales org
  • Drive demand creation strategy for your products

Be part of an initiative to build a world class Magnetic Sensor portfolio

  • Help define market, technologies, trends and opportunities
  • Execute well across multi-discipline teams (R&D, Supply Chain, QA, Sales/BDM)
  • Co-develop and drive continuous process improvement goals

Contribute to Business Development to determine partnership and investment opportunities to grow the product and BU through:

  • Analysis of market, critical success factors, key segments, competition for attractive investment and development of business plans
  • Engage with external companies to determine and execute on business development plans, including partnerships (PBL/GSS) and acquisition.

Develop Marcom strategies for the BU and its products in the target market segments, customers, and distribution channels.

  • Bring Marcom in alignment with BU strategy and Marcom provides appropriate delivery vehicle.
  • Work with direct and indirect reports to provide material in support of Marcom plan as well as new product releases or introductions

Education
Bachelor or university degree, BSEE (MSEE and/or MBA is a plus)

Experience

  • >10 years' experience working in the electronics industry, preferably with experience in magnetic sensors (assembles) using various technologies, including reed switches and TMR
  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in product marketing and/or management
  • Experience mapping markets, segments, evaluating product offering, competition, etc. to shape strategic direction of a product line or business
  • Experience with owning product roadmaps and engagement with new product development to scope new product needs.
  • Comfortable discussing engineering concepts/principles with customer design engineers in the field
  • Must have excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with customers & represent LF
  • Experience in managing product line profitability including pricing authority
  • Understanding of industry channel practices and dynamics
  • Experience in partnering with other business units to develop and implement cost reduction plans
  • Track record of relationship with sales leaders to drive execution of product line strategy
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix organization and cross-functional team-based environment
  • Ability to manage through conflict and differences of opinion.
  • Self-directed with an ability to set priorities

Salary Range:

$104,400 - $161,760

The salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
