About the Role

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in driving the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This high-impact position oversees the general ledger and full accounting cycle, manages complex journal entries and reconciliations, and delivers insightful financial analyses. As a leader in the month-end close process, the Senior Accountant will collaborate with accounting partners and management to ensure timely, accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Your Key Contributions

  • Manage and maintain the company's general ledger. This includes preparing and posting complex journal entries, such as those for accruals, deferrals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations of a variety of balance sheet and income statement accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, and fixed assets. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (GAAP).
  • Lead or assist with the monthly and quarterly financial close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and complex account reconciliations.
  • Conduct research on new and existing accounting pronouncements (GAAP) to ensure proper application and disclosure.
  • Prepare various financial analyses and reports for management, including fluctuation analyses and special projects as needed.
  • Identify and implement improvements to GL accounting processes and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Assist and provide analysis for quarterly and year-end tax compliance and reporting.
  • Assist in the implementation of AI to help create efficiencies within the department.
  • Support other accounting projects and tasks as they arise.


What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • 3-6 years' experience in accounting, with a strong focus on full accounting cycle and financial reporting
  • CPA license highly preferred
  • Makes informed, accurate decisions by applying GAAP guidance, analyzing financial data, researching accounting standards, and resolving complex accounting issues to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
  • Partners effectively with accounting teams, management, and cross-functional stakeholders to support financial reporting, tax compliance, month-end close, and special projects.
  • Maintains accuracy, adaptability, and professionalism while managing multiple priorities, meeting critical deadlines, and responding to evolving accounting requirements and business needs.
  • Organizes and prioritizes accounting activities to ensure timely completion of financial close processes, reporting requirements, reconciliations, and compliance objectives in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Clearly communicates financial information and analysis through accurate reports, meaningful recommendations, and collaborative interactions with leadership and business partners. Strong knowledge of accrual and GAAP accounting and proficiency with enterprise-level accounting software, NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Local Time

The pay range for this role is:

$68,000-$90,000
