Parking Attendant Student Worker
About this role
Parking Attendant Student Workers will be tasked with managing the parking and traffic operations during campus events and oversee access to reserved event spaces. Parking attendants primary responsibilities will be to ensure reserved spaces are only accessed by approved visitors/guests and maintaining on campus traffic flow. May be eligible for Federal Work Study.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting students, faculty, staff, and visitors with courtesy and professionalism.
- Monitoring and controlling access to parking lots and garages.
- Directing traffic and guiding drivers to other available parking spaces during peak hours.
- Assisting with campus events and providing parking coordination as needed.
- Providing assistance to individuals with special parking needs.
- Assisting in maintaining clean and well-organized parking facilities.
Compensation:
- $10 - $15 (hourly)
Hours:
- Student Workers will be able to work 1-20 hours per week. The days and times will vary. Hours will often mirror on campus special events and Student Workers can expect working 2-4 hours at a time.
