About this role

The Office Manager supports the School of Music by overseeing logistical, scheduling, financial,and communication functions essential to daily operations. This role is responsible for managing the scheduling of rooms, events, and specialized venues, ensuring that faculty, students, and guests have access to the necessary spaces and resources for instruction, rehearsals, performances, and special events.

Financial responsibilities include processing payments, reconciling purchases, managing payroll for adjuncts and student workers, and assisting with budget meetings in compliance with institutional policies. The Office Manager also collaborates with the university registrar to enter class schedules and provide support for student enrollment processes. Additionally, the Office Manager works closely with the director, assistant director, and faculty to coordinate daily operations and maintain accurate records.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Administrative, office, scheduling, event coordination, or related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
