HR Representative
About this role
Essential Job Functions:
The Human Resources Representative provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department, collecting new hire paperwork, completing E-Verity, collecting I-9 documents and assisting employees with various human resources related questions. The administrative support includes but is not limited to maintaining employee files, answering employee questions, completing invoice payments for the department, managing the HR department facilities, ensuring employee documentation records are accurately tracked and stored.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check and Maintain Email Communication
- Manage Phone Calls and Voicemails
- Assist employees and student workers with questions
- Collect identification for I-9s
- Complete I-9/e-verify and mark as updated in UKG
- Follow up on outstanding I-9s
- Update employee records in UKG as needed
- Mail pick up and distribution for HR Department
- Maintain Employee Files
- Manage Supplies for HR Department
- Pay Bills for HR Department
- Process exiting employees
- Prepare and distribute Community News and Family News
- Manage Recycling for department
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience: 1-3 years of administrative work experience
Personal Interactions/Communications:
Ability to work effectively with diverse group of employees, provide excellent customer service to our employees, ability to use logic and reason to solve problems, must have excellent oral and written communication skills, advanced MS Office and Google Suite Skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) required, and knowledge of basic Human Resources principles and procedures.
