Little Creatures Hobsonville has been proudly delivering remarkable experiences since 2019! We are on the hunt for more customer-service driven and motivated hospitality talents to join our team at this iconic venue! This is a unique venue where you will get the support, love and care of a family-owned venue whilst retaining the job security and career prospects which come from being a part of New Zealand’s largest alcohol beverage company – Lion.

We are currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join us at Little Creatures Brewery in Hobsonville, Auckland! This is a permanent, full-time position working a minimum of 35 hours per week.

About the Role:
In this role you will continue providing unforgettable Little Creatures experiences for our amazing customers. Your responsibilities include:

  • Deliver high quality consistent food products whilst pursing improvements in safety and culture
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction, quality and service
  • Responsible for maintaining quality control, including incoming raw materials, disciplined food production and strong process controls on outgoing food items.
  • Maintain standards for food preparation, presentation and service
  • Team Development through technical training and sharing industry knowledge
  • Menu evolution and product development


To be successful, you will bring:

  • A passion for hospitality and world-class customer experience
  • Strong technical and learning agility to apply new concepts and continuously improve
  • Experience working in a fast-paced & high-volume environment
  • A broad and in-depth understanding of hospitality including local and industry trends, key suppliers and customers
  • Experience in a similar, professional kitchen environment
  • Understanding of quality seasonal produce and sound consumption planning
  • The drive for wanting to be better every day and being happy to get your hands dirty!
