About the Role:
Liberty Waste Solutions is looking for a reliable and experienced Welder to join our team. This is a traveling position that works at various sites around the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill). You’ll help maintain and repair dumpsters, compactors, containers, and other waste equipment.
Pay: $25-$30/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication on dumpsters, compactors, and containers
- Make on-site repairs at customer locations
- Operate welding equipment and tools safely
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Keep track of materials used and work completed
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisors on job status
Requirements:
- Prior welding experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors and travel daily to job sites
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
