We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team within the broader Platform function on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all Avaloq and other platforms' release deliveries are of the quality expected by the business users and can be released into production.
Your Responsibilities
Involvement during the definition and design phases for change, contributing to overall solution.
Support the creation of test plans and test cases for all functionalities to be developed, covering both application and broader business process testing.
Tracking the test cases back to associated design and requirements documents.
Collaboration with business SMEs and management to agree and sign off on the test approach.
Execution of test plans and test cases, capturing of test results and associated evidence.
Support the Platform team in identifying issues for failed or conditionally passed test cases.
Support the broader business by ensuring stability of the UAT test environment and test connections to counterparties
Execution of process improvements to the LGT Crestone test framework in alignment with DevOps principles
Work with the Lead Quality Engineer to determine the management of standardised test data.
Working across multiple platforms including Avaloq, data integration systems and APIs.
About You
Qualifications in CompSci or related fields preferred.
Experience tester across a range of products and processes within financial services or experience in validating financial services product rollouts within a business function.
Financial services experience is a must.
Experience in test execution and coordinating End to End SWIFT message testing with counterparties is highly regarded.
Experience in building and maintaining Test Automation framework is a nice to have.
Experience in working within technology teams
Experience of Test case tracking in JIRA and knowledge sharing in Confluence
Exposure towards traditional and Agile SDLC methodologies
Knowledge of wealth management products and services is a plus (e.g., portfolio management, trading, settlements, payments, reconciliations, corporate actions)
Experience on Avaloq platform is a plus
Strong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills, capable of proactive engagement and effective priority management in a dynamic environment.
