About the role
As our Customer Planner, you'll play a key role in the LEGO® HKTW Operations team, connecting Sales, Marketing, customers, and supply chain partners to improve demand planning, product availability, and inventory performance. You'll combine data analysis, commercial insight, and planning expertise to strengthen forecast accuracy, support monthly planning cycles, and drive continuous improvements that help the business grow. It's an opportunity to influence decisions, build strong customer partnerships, and shape how products flow through the market.
No relocation assistance is provided for this role. The role can be based in either Hong Kong or Taiwan supporting both markets.
Core Responsibilities:
Customer demand planning and management (50%)
Partner with Key Account Managers to ensure smooth execution of customer demand planning, driving an excellent topline forecasting and management.
Lead analytical reviews on customer performance, market dynamics, building block assumptions, forward-looking forecasts, and promotion effectiveness to strengthen turnover forecast accuracy.
Validate launch and promotional volume estimates, customer assortment lists, and account flow models to ensure high-quality outputs for company planning cycles.
Product availability and allocation (20%)
Drive the product allocation process in line with defined principles, ensuring fairness, adherence to confirmed orders, and alignment with supply constraints.
Support Key Account Managers in maintaining healthy retail stock levels and ensuring product availability for consumers.
In-stock and inventory reporting (10%)
Develop and maintain in-stock reporting to assess LEGO market inventory, including local reporting setup, coordination with regional teams, and updates to retail product listings.
Identify and escalate inventory issues, providing actionable recommendations to Demand Planning and Account Management teams for improved product flow.
S&OP support (10%)
Actively participate in the monthly S&OP cycle, providing customer insights on product flow and promotional activities.
Continuous improvement (10%)
Serve as a bridge for internal and external customer-related projects (e.g., order-to-cash implementation, EDI integration).
Drive process improvements by leveraging advanced technology, industry networking, and productivity programs.
Required Qualifications
Delivered customer demand planning and forecasting activities in a consumer goods, retail, or supply chain environment
Applied advanced Excel, Power Query, and Power BI tools to support planning and business decisions
Managed inventory analysis and reporting to improve availability, visibility, or stock performance
Partnered with commercial and operational teams to achieve measurable business outcomes
Improved forecast accuracy through structured reviews, planning processes, and data insights
Preferred Qualifications
Used EDI integration processes to support customer or supply chain operations
Conducted retail performance and promotional analysis to guide planning decisions

What success looks like
Success means mastering the balance between customer demand and supply realities while helping improve forecast quality and service levels. Over time, you'll contribute to stronger planning processes, enhanced reporting capabilities, greater inventory visibility, and customer integration initiatives. You'll work closely with Key Account Managers, Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning teams, regional operations colleagues, and customer planning contacts to deliver sustainable growth and reliable product availability.
