As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a key role in expanding our referral network, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and strategic partners.

You'll collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager, Marketing, Training, and Field Representatives to generate qualified opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships, and support the firm's continued growth.

Your work will directly contribute to client acquisition, partner engagement, referral success, and long-term business expansion.

What You'll Do

Prospecting & Business Development

  • Use targeted outreach strategies to influence new business acquisition.
  • Identify and present solutions for the needs of prospects and existing customers.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Identify geographic areas where partner facility coverage is limited and recruit new referral partners, including body shops, chiropractors, and tow yards.
  • Research and vet potential partner facilities using online resources and business intelligence tools.

Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Effectively manage the inbound lead pool.
  • Qualify potential clients and assign them according to opportunity size.
  • Follow up with prospective customers who expressed interest but did not move forward.
  • Conduct rejected lead rescue efforts by contacting declined prospects and connecting them with appropriate partner facilities when applicable.

Account & Partner Relationship Management

  • Retain and manage an assigned portfolio of accounts.
  • Perform regular follow-up calls and emails while maintaining consistent communication with existing clients.
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients and referral partners.
  • Maintain a structured 30-day partner care cycle through monthly outreach, updates, and ongoing support.

Referral Management

  • Coordinate outbound referrals for clients requiring services such as vehicle repairs, towing, or medical treatment.
  • Match clients with qualified partner facilities based on location and service needs.
  • Track referral outcomes and maintain accurate documentation of all referral activities.

Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Schedule meetings and calls between prospective clients and the Business Development Manager.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Training teams to support business development initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Field Representatives (FRs) to schedule facility visits and assist with onboarding efforts.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of calls, referrals, partner interactions, and business development activities within Filevine or designated CRM systems.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and documentation requirements.

Client & Partner Engagement

  • Customize service solutions to improve client satisfaction.
  • Support partner appreciation and engagement initiatives that strengthen long-term business relationships.

Reporting & Performance

  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance results to the Business Development Manager.
  • Analyze outreach, referral, and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and business growth.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent business development, sales, and customer service abilities.
  • Proven ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Relations, Account Management, or Partner Success.
  • Experience in legal services, personal injury, healthcare, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Filevine, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
  • Experience building referral networks or strategic partnerships.
  • Familiarity with outreach, lead generation, and customer relationship management best practices.
