Join our team as a DevOps Engineer, to play a role in shaping our technology landscape. As a member of our Cloud Infrastructure and Security (CIS) team, you'll make contributions leveraging AWS, Terraform, serverless architecture, Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker. Collaborating across multiple scrum teams and codebases, you'll drive innovation and efficiency, making a difference across our product lines and business functions.

\nWHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Help develop and maintain the core cloud infrastructure powering all LeanTaaS services
  • Manage robust build pipelines, deployment tools, and internal systems for seamless code deployment
  • Execute disaster recovery plans and automation for isolated deployment environments
  • Maintain internal security measures, performance monitoring tools, and uptime monitoring for cloud infrastructure
  • Manage databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring compliance with legal regulations
  • Champion best practices for availability, reliability, scalability, and security
  • Participate in on-call support rotations to ensure system availability and uptime
  • Improve existing documentation and runbooks
  • Automate routine manual tasks
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
  • 1–3 years of engineering experience building, maintaining, and scaling cloud infrastructure
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell) and experience leveraging AI productivity tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Co-Pilot) to streamline DevOps workflows
  • Real-world experience configuring and operating core AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, Site 2 Site VPN, Route53 , API Gateway)
  • Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and defining Infrastructure as Code using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Familiarity with containerizing applications using Docker and orchestrating workloads with ECS Fargate or Kubernetes
  • Strong grasp of cloud security principles, system monitoring, and integrating Shift Left practices early in the development lifecycle
BONUS POINT IF YOU HAVE
  • Additional certifications in cloud technologies or security
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Contributions to open-source projects related to DevOps or cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with other cloud providers besides AWS

$100,000 - $130,000 a year
LeanTaaS takes a market-based approach to pay. The offered base salary will reflect careful consideration of a number of factors, including the level you are hired into, your location, skills and qualifications, prior relevant experience, internal equity, and market conditions. This range may be modified in the future.
